Simply inspiring imaging
The Schick 33 intraoral sensor provides industry-leading theoretical resolution. For consistently crisp, detailed images, no other digital sensor can compare. Featuring bold bone trabeculation, crisp lamina dura and a clear, clean DEJ, clinicians depend on Schick’s superior image quality to meet their diagnostic needs. This intraoral sensor brings an unprecedented level of clarity, sharpness and detail to digital radiography.
33 LP/MM Theoretical Resolution
Image clarity is the most cited technical factor for quality imaging. Outstanding image resolution is essential for defining edges, identifying caries and other defects. At 33 lp/mm theoretical resolution, Schick 33 delivers industry-leading resolution and quality.
Your own system on your own terms
Built on a modular platform, Schick 33 offers you flexibility to customize digital imaging solutions that fit your practice. With broad choices in everything from sensor sizes and cable lengths, to USB or WiFi connectivity, you can pick the most appropriate technology for your needs. Plus, all platform components are designed for compatibility and easy integration with many practice management programs. So you can keep up with changing requirements as they arise, without having to change your whole system. And that means you can protect your investment for years to come.
The unique replaceable cable offers the ultimate return on investment
Users benefit from outstanding images for years to come thanks to the patented DIY cable replacement. Cables cost a fraction of the price of a new sensor and can be purchased at any time – an included spare cable ensures absolutely no lost productivity for the user should a cable be damaged.

Dynamic sharpening slider
With the dynamic sharpening slider and task specific image enhancements, you can individually set sharpness, brightness and
contrast for five different diagnoses.
The cable technology with Schick 33 is backed by more than two decades of industry leading experience and offers outstanding durability (4 wire design, kink resistant, USB sensor connector proofed to 20,000 versus 1,500 for USB A connectors). Still mistakes happen, someone slams the door on a cable, for example. In those instances, you will be prepared.
Why should I buy the sensor holder system?
Dentsply Sirona's patented adhesive holder system allows for a hygienic, comfortable and accurate imaging experience. All sensor kits are supplied with holder sets to get you started. Refills can be purchased at any time.
What is the advantage of a stiff sensor compared to a flexible plate?
Bending plates distort images and jeopardize the reproducible image quality - plate manufacturers specifically state that plates should not be bent. With proper positioning, sensor comfort combined with the speed of image capture offer the ultimate intraoral imaging experience.
What are the system requirements?
The requirements actually follow those for the image processing software, Sidexis 4.
My treatment rooms are very large - will the cables reach?
USB Modules are supplied with 2m USB cables and 2.7m sensor cables, allowing for plenty of space. If reach may be a problem, the WiFi solution takes these concerns out completely, while offering greater movement if moving between multiple treatment rooms.
Are the sensors waterproof?
Yes, they are. As documented in the User Manual, the sensor complies with the protection class IPX0. It means that, when used appropriately covered with a hygienic sleeve, the sensor is 100% waterproof.
