The power lies in the consistency
The power of the T2 Control lies in its consistent torque.
Less is more. The patented CONTROL function ensures one-of-a-kind torque and continuous powerful preparation. With constant high torque at a speed of 250,000 rpm, Dentsply Sirona shows that the power of an air-driven handpiece in no way depends on pure rotation speed. You can drill quickly – without stopping to pick up speed again – saving you valuable working time
The air-driven handpiece independently controls the speed, so you no longer need to stop to pick up speed again.
Mode of operation
While rotating, the O-ring expands due to centrifugal force. This results in less driving air reaching the rotor, so that the rotational speed is kept at approximately 250,000 rpm.
As soon as the bur touches the tooth, the O-ring becomes smaller due to the reduction in centrifugal force, and the driving air to the rotor increases. The optimum working speed of approx. 250,000 rpm is thus maintained.
More powerful, smaller, quieter

The 23 watts of the Boost model allows for working almost without interruption with even more torque, combined with significantly lower noise and a reduced head size - more power, more torque, more efficiency.

With the extra small mini head options, you get optimum access to the molar region and a perfect view of the preparation site. T2 mini has an impressive head size (height: 13.9 mm, diameter: 10.2 mm) to torque ratio.
